Our first ambition was to create a restaurant for the community, where you can enjoy a dish prepared by a top chef as a final chord of the working day or as a special treat of the weekend. It seems that we have succeeded. The Kadriorg area loves us and we love to offer the people here really good food and carefully selected wines from small producers. Of course, the slightly hidden green wooden house is always waiting for guests from further afield who want to enjoy author's cuisine with a nuanced palette of flavors.<\/p>\n

Mediterranean cuisine prepared by our experienced chef J\u00fcri Vaink\u00fcla<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>in a simple Estonian way, is more nuanced than one might think \u2013 after all, there are many countries with different food cultures along the Mediterranean. The menu at the Mantel ja Korsten restaurant is truly diverse. In addition to seafood and pasta dishes with lots of variety, the restaurant also offers, for example, Iberico secreto<\/em>, mackerel and the already famous beef hanger steak. The chefs' creations also include dishes that may push the average restaurant visitor a little outside their comfort zone. All those looking for exciting new flavors are welcome, we especially recommend our 5-course tasting menu - here, food artists J\u00fcri and J\u00fcrgen have truly creatively combined food from the restaurant's a la carte menu, as well as several new dishes that are not part of the daily menu.<\/p>\n

Our sommelier and restaurant owner Rain Veskim\u00e4e has carefully selected the drink menu and he will recommend something to suit your palate and tastes with pleasure. Our wine list focus is on smaller wineries, where winemakers are artist themselves. As with food, the produce is very important, it is also very important for us when wine producers cultivate sustainable viticulture. The creation of our kitchen as well as the selection of drinks, which our team is happy to introduce and recommend to you, will create a memorable experience.<\/p>\n

In the rooms designed with bright colors and, why not, even inside the mantelpiece, couples and families, as well as larger groups, will find a pleasant place to sit, feeling completely comfortable in the restaurant.<\/p>\n
